Personalized Guidance Through Every Step

Helping families understand their options, compare communities,

and move forward with confidence.

Free Needs Assessment

Every family’s situation is different, and the right placement starts with understanding yours. We begin with a conversation by phone, video, or in person, where we listen to your concerns, priorities, and what your family is trying to accomplish.

We’ll talk through your loved one’s current living situation, care needs, daily routines, preferences, budget, and what matters most. You don’t need to have all the answers. Part of our role is helping you determine what’s needed now and what the next step should be.

By the end of the assessment, you'll have a clearer picture of what level of care makes sense, what a realistic budget looks like, and what the next step should be.

What to expect:

- A 30-60 minute conversation at your pace

- No forms, no pressure, no commitment

- Honest input on care level and budget fit

- A clear next step, whether that's touring communities or simply gathering more information

Personalized Community Options

Online directories can give families a long list of communities, but a long list is not the same as personal guidance. We take a more focused approach based on your loved one’s care needs, preferences, location, budget, and priorities.

Based on your assessment, we identify a focused group of communities that fit your loved one’s care needs, preferences, location, and budget. We’ll explain why each option deserves consideration and, just as importantly, why some may not be the right fit. Some of the best-marketed communities aren't the best fit for every family, and some of the quiet gems on our list you'd never find on your own.

We research and personally preview communities before recommending them for your family to tour. This gives us firsthand insight into the environment, services, care capabilities, and overall fit so we can help you focus on options that genuinely align with your loved one’s needs.

What to expect:

- A focused list of 3-5 matched communities, not 30.

- An honest explanation of each match and why it fits

- Insight that goes beyond an online listing

- Your information is kept private — never sold or shared with marketing lists

Guided Tours

Touring senior living communities can be overwhelming, especially when you’re doing it for the first time or making decisions under pressure. Every community presents its best side during a tour, and families often aren’t sure what questions to ask or what to look for beneath the surface.

We schedule tours on your behalf, meet you there, and walk through with you - helping you look beyond the presentation and understand the differences between communities.

We ask the questions families often don't think to ask — important questions about staffing, care, services, costs, and what happens if your loved one’s needs change later.

After each tour, we can talk through what stood out, what raised concerns, and how the community compares with your other options.

What to expect:

- Tours scheduled around your availability

- A knowledgeable advocate by your side

- The right questions asked and the real answers decoded

- Honest guidance as you compare communities

Care Level Guidance

Independent living, assisted living, memory care, residential care homes, and skilled nursing can be confusing when you’re trying to determine what your loved one actually needs. The differences between them have real implications and how well your loved one will be cared for as their needs evolve.

We help explain the differences in clear language and help you understand which type of setting may make sense to explore today, while also considering how needs may change over time. The goal is not simply to solve today’s problem, but to help your family make a decision with the future in mind. A placement that can grow as your loved one's needs may change - avoiding the difficutly of a future move.

When needs are changing quickly, such as after a hospital stay, fall, or new diagnosis, we can help you understand the available options and what to consider next — we help you consider the options with clarity and urgency.

What to expect:

- Clear explanations of different care levels

- Guidance on current and likely future needs

- Help identifying communities that can accommodate changing needs

- Help avoiding placements that will require another move soon

Financial & VA Benefit Guidance

Senior living costs can be difficult to understand because communities may use different pricing structures, care-level charges, and additional fees. We help families see the full picture before they sign anything.

We'll walk families through understanding of the costs they are likely to encounter, including private-pay options, long-term care insurance considerations, and common senior living pricing models. For veterans and surviving spouses, we can also provide general information about VA Aid & Attendance and connect families with appropriate resources.

We're not financial advisors and we don't sell insurance. Our role is to help you understand the questions to ask and connect you with qualified professionals when specialized advice is needed. Avoiding the common traps families can encounter when they're making decisions under pressure.

What to expect:

- A clearer understanding of senior living costs

- Help comparing common pricing structures

- General information about VA Aid & Attendance and available resources

- Referrals to trusted financial and legal professionals when needed

Move-In & Transition Support

Choosing a community is only part of the process. The move itself, paperwork, logistics, and emotional adjustment can create an entirely new set of challenges. This is where many families feel most alone, and it's where we stay closest.

We help coordinate the transition, make sure important details are addressed, and prepare your family for what the first few weeks may look like. Some seniors adjust quickly while others need more time, and we remain available as questions arise.

Our relationship does not end at move-in. If circumstances change or new concerns develop, Senior Legacy Placement remains a resource for your family. Placement isn't a one-time transaction for us. It's the start of an ongoing relationship with your family.

What to expect:

- Help coordinating the logistics of move-in day

- Realistic expectations for the adjustment period

- A trusted point of contact during the first critical weeks

- A long-term relationship, not a one-and-done service
